Some sites to find exercises/warm-up that fit you: [link]

But I recommend 15 minutes of warm-up/stretching AT LEAST to start. If you DON'T warm-up you can pull something.

Cool down exercise:

I do jumping jacks (100 of them), and standard warm up for about 15 minutes. I look forward to getting a jump rope and using that.

Different types of exercise:

  • Mood: Neutral
  • Listening to: Adam Lambert
  • Reading: Vampire Transgression
  • Watching: New Moon
  • Drinking: Blood... I mean... it's fruit punch I swear!

Ironically, I've started to try an get serious about this stuff again. My thing is though I want to lose weight because I'm at risk of being overweight. People tell me 'Oh, you're not fat' and stuff but it's more than my appearance. I'm not healthy. I have horrible balance which is bad because it can result in poor posture and put strain on the back- and I have back problems and flexibility issues with that.

I think a lot of what my problem is, is eating the wrong foods. I bike 8-10 miles almost everyday to get to school and my friends house across the town and I've started up doing the 'Wii Fit' for Yoga and working with my balance issues.

I look forward to more exercise and health tips and stuff from you! :D I am very interested in this.

Again, thank you! :D

Particularly, for the girls I mean, I think we like to look for exercises that help keep toned and slim certain areas (like thighs, and stomach)

For specialized exercises for those, it's good if you can find a 'for girls' sort of magazine that will give you exercise tips in each issue~ ;)
